The only car i have ever owned was an 89' 5.0 GT, i bought it when i was 16. The car was basically stock, except for small mods like headers and H pipe, K&N filter, etc. The engine started to screw up about a year ago (2 years after buying the car), and i pulled the engine and transmission, and had the engine overhauled and upgraded. Sence the engine bay was accessable, i decided to pull everything off, sand and POR-15 coat everything, along with upgrading the suspension with new hyperflex bushings, shocks, struts, etc. Upon removing the fenders and font clip, it was obvious the car was shot...the guy who i bought it from had obviously crashed it, and put new plastics over it, and where the front K member mounts it was rusted so bad, it desentegrated with minimal hammering. The thing is, the body on the car is immaculant, but it was hiding fatal flaws within...So basically i am looking for a rolling chassis, i have a perfect engine that has been sittining in a crate in my garage for a year now, and a solid AOD and rear end. I was wondering if the 302 H.O (now a 306) from my 89 GT would be able to bolt right into a 94-95 GT rolling chassis. Although my heart will always be with the fox body mustang, it would be nice to have the upgraded suspension and interior of the later model. Thanks alot for all your advice

The accessory brackets are different, but Im not sure if the accessories are different or not. I don't know if you can use the fox accessories on an SN95.

The throttle body and air intake are different, but all you would need is a fox throttle cable since you have everything else. You may have to make your own CAI, or a fox CAI might work.

I think the distributor/TFI are different, too.

AFIK, everything else is pretty much the same.

If you don't want to spend money on a CAI, just get a 94-95 V6 air intake tube (by which I mean the big molded rubber hose between the MAF and the the throttle body), it fits a Fox 5.0L setup almost perfectly.

The alternator, at least, is definitely different between the Fox and the SN95 5.0Ls.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Fox headers will fit in a SN95.

I am in the middle of a v8/5 speed swap and I used the engine out of a 88' and put it in my 95' which used to be a v6/auto. The 88' had headers on it when I bought it, and they fit in my 95' so I think he'll be ok.
