Engine Timing

I have a 1992 LX 5.0 and was wondering how the engine timing is changed. I think it has already been changed 14 degrees. How do you undo that or mess around with the timing, thanks.

There are a number of ways to adjust timing. The most common way is with a timing light. You need to loosen your distributor, then shine the timing light at the pointer on the balancer. You then turn the distributor until your timing is adjusted where you want it. There were a lot of details left out that you would need to do this. When I did mine I found a link on here that gave a great description. I think it was from stang22's page.
