Harbor Freight has the wire BTW.hmm.. what is the alternative to bolting it in the torque box reinforcements? can i install them and simply weld them in?
I would have been completely done with the passenger side subframes and bar system if I had not run out of welding wire.. I have all of them tacked into place but I will have to make a run tomorrow to get more wire to finish them up.

That's where I am going, same place I got my welder. Its flux core wire but gets the job done.Harbor Freight has the wire BTW.
use eastwoods frame coating. I used it on my car. It has a long tube with a tip that sprays in all direction. Stuff works great and seems to stick to anything.And done, I also flooded the frame rails with water until sand and debris stopped coming out of them. Alot of stuff came out took an hour to do both sides.
I ordered a quart of por15 and plan to basically pour it into the frame rails... or use something to try and spray it in as best I can for coverage.
eastwoods product comes in an areosol can with the tube. I'm sure you could make up somthing with a piece of brake line and some tubingDarn I already ordered the por15... maybe i can find just the tool..

One thing i do when i open por is pour it in a mason jar otherwise if you put the lid on the can it seems like i can never get it off again. when you get the spray stuff stretch out the tube in the sun so it straightens out otherwise it curls up. you could also tape it to a coat hanger etc if needed.Thanks, I went ahead and ordered 3 cans of the black frame coating so i can really get all of them done. I am going to just leave the order for the por15, I may as well use that to paint the outside if the frame rails and welds so its really well protected. I also have some other projects [tractor] that i can use this on.

I drilled some 1/4" holes. they aren't really noticeable once your done. put them on the bottom side where possibleI think I may have to drill a hole out in the frame rail to get the wand up in there like i need too. unless there is an opening that will work that I do not see?
