300 flywheel horsepower? Come on guys stop smacking Staticc in the face. I put out 257 HP at the flywheel with stock intake, stock TB, stock heads, stock cam and stock headers all with 130,000 miles on them. Are you saying all of those parts are worth only 43 HP at the flywheel? Come on you're killing me. 300 rwhp is more realistic with the longtubes and all.

Staticc, sounds like a nice driver friendly every day car if you ask me. You may want to re-think your cam, but that's up to you. Tuning is going to make or break you. Besides, if you don't feel like that's enough after it's all done you can put an S trim on it. :D

This is too easy. You will be around 280rwhp. If you have drag radials or slicks, yes, you will beat that camaro. From a roll he will probably get you, but from a dig you should win.

Some people should stay out of posts like these because it's obvious they don't have a clue.

I would say 280-300 REAR wheel horsepower. Depends how well you have it tuned. Don't know if you could crack 300 or not, maybe of you matched the parts better (TFS intake and cam) instead of FRPP intake and cam. What MPH does that Camaro run? I ran a guy who had the Trick Flow set up and he ran 12.70's @ 110 mph down the strip, but he was only cuttin like 1.90's 60' or something like that with drag radials. He said he was leaving at 3000 I think. If he had some slicks and left at 5000-6000 it would be a low-mid 12 sec. car easy. Oh yea, he had 4.30 gears also.

well. i just bough the car. and it came with all this on it :D
so i didnt choose these parts and setup. but hey. im not complaining.
im not even positive if its a GT40 intake on it. but it *looks* like one to me. ill take pictures on my day off soon.
and im pretty sure those trick flow heads are in there. it was in the reciepts he gave me.

..the car runs ****ty, horrible idle.. stalls, until its warmed up. then it idles fairly decent.
on my day off. im putting in 10-30 oil for the cold weather. new oil filter, new fuel filter, new pcv valve, new sparkplugs.

full little tune up. maybe even new o2 sensors. if those are even on this xpipe, didnt check

then hopefully.. it will run better

oh, and the engine, and tailpipes shake when it idles... im going to take it to my friend at his shop and ask him about that. could be anything as far as i know.
