around how much power would a 347 forged stroker, AFR 205's, custom cam, 75mm throttle body, and an RPM intake net me?

.... and the 205 heads are big for a 347 to live comfortably down low1991vert said:so what about 185's. i was reading in another thread that you said victor jr. heads are better than 185's. i dont really want high RPM power. i'd like the car to be streetable also

Porting the 165's would help a little if done on a CNC machine, but having them hand done could possibly produce adverse affect and would be a bit of a gamble ... a man just cannot produce equal flow characteristics as a machine and the factory trial and error.
Since you have 165's right now, I would keep those if you build a street 331 ... if you build a 347 I might consider selling the 165's and getting the 185's.
However, since you are making 302/6, 165 power right now ,here is my suggestion.
CHP347 balanced-knife edged-alum girdle-windage tray, 185's(58cc), RPMII, 70tb, 30lb injectors, Comp XE274HR or custom with a split pattern ... Duration around 222/228, lift around .550", 112* lobe
This combo will make enough power to make street driving quite entertaining![]()

Some counties in florida dont do emissions.1991vert said:ok well im thinking about a either a probe stroker kit or a scat with all forged internals and this WILL be going in a dart block.
