Yes Ladies and Gentlemen I have arrived in Florida!! I just couldn't let you down and tell you anything less!! Believe it or not my Mustang did not break down and I have almost 5k on the clock. (lets not forget it broke down at 41 miles) Driving a US built car to Florida from NJ is a scary thing! And here is my first complaint of the new "season". The seats in this car really blow!! After driving for several hours the support in the drivers seat is so lousy that my back was killing me. I still love the car but the seats and especially that 2 dollar "Skanker" stereo really suck!! The hillbillies down here LOVE Mustangs and constantly ask me dumb ass questions. "Hey Mister is that one of those new Mustangs?" or " Where do you spit your tobacco juice? those tan carpets will stain powerful quick" Ah the American car owners experience, where every idiot with no teeth and a trailer LOVES your car and HATES those fancy German Poorshes and BNWS!!! GOOD TO BE BACK ALL YOU LOSERS!!

Welcome back ExCon Better trade that Mustang in - not sure if you're worthy of an American ICon. By the sounds of your sarcastic email, you may need to take a little time off and go smell the salt of the ocean - it may help your attitude - in a positive way.

He's an attention junkie. Some people need attention so much, they'll take even negative attention. Poor thing...his self esteem must be in the gutter.

I'm waiting for a little to much crap to be talked locally. The red neck american car pride club will show up late one night and rebadge his GT with some superglue and upside down BMW badges.

I'm also not real pleased with the seat quality but you get what you pay for. .

speaking of seats-I was at the Atlanta Car show last night and the seats in the new boxster sucked. I was sitting in the non S version and the ones in the S looked better, but it was locked.

Sticker was 49,500 and it looked nice, but I was very disappointed in the look and feel of the seats. On the german side I really liked the A-6 & A-8, but those are $50 & 80 k respectively. I came away satisfied that 30 k for a gt vert was a good choice.

Another subject of much disagreement-the new GTO. I had heard that the interior of this car was much better than the stang. The seats seemed a little better to sit in, but overall feel of interior was no better than a stang. And you have to live with its styling--that is one boring car to look at even if it does have 400 hp.

Though not being a big fan of the GTO, I have to say that the seats are pretty comfortable. Thats about it. Other than that I am not a big fan.

ExCon....welcome back..enjoy the Florida weather..I soooo want to move there

I think it's cos too many people come on here for info. They'll need help with some issue or another and just think "Hey, maybe I oughta go online to one of those enthusiast web-sites". Crazy, eh?

I think those may be the same people who drink beer and if they want a fight, they get into one, rather act the idiot online and hide behind their keyboard, wetting themselves. Go figure?

Since I have never owned a Japanese or German car, I guess I don't know how bad I have it. BTW, I drove from Jacksonville, FL to South Jersey twice a year for 10 years in my Ford Pinto. Never a problem but air conditioning would have been nice.

Guess you were having trouble working that lumbar support switch. I know it's difficult. Afterall, the switch does move both left and right.

In defense of this car's seats, I'm 6'3" and love the roomy seating. You can rave about your "poorshes and BNWS" all you want - I admit they're great vehicles, but those cars are designed for midgets. I'll take my stang any day over any of your european or japanese imports.

and by the way, welcome back - this board just got interesting again.

Excon why didnt you buy a BMW 318/325 if you can afford the GT ragtrop you could have picked up a base model 318/325 for close to the same amount of money then you would be driving your almighty BEEMER!

but then again 190 hp just isnt that exciting is it? (unless its in a lotus elise)

Just beware that one morning when you come out to your car and its missing from the spot you parked it the night before and replaced with a post-it reading "-a collaboration of the s197 Mustang Talk team, go fish"

I wonder if I can ebay this service?

Its another "filter" immediately past the stock airbox in the end of the intake tube. It adds a big restriction and in my case did not set off the warning light.
