Well I got my Mickey Thompson ET Radials put on. They look nice.

but they rub the tailpipes. Im only using a 2.5" system. The tails are already hitting the plastic cover on the gas tank.

I really dont want to smash in the pipe so the tires clear...
Would wheel spacers work? And if so will I need longer studs?

This is just getting annoying... :(

If the pipes are adjusted all the way in and they can't go any further, you will need to "clearance" them with a BMFH or a SFH.

If you do run wheel spacers, you should get longer studs and new lug nuts to make it safe for you to drive the car. We know that spacers on stock studs / lugs can be very dangerous.

I don't see how people have problems with tailpipes...my tires (275/50 BFG's) sometimes rub the inner fenderwell, but my pipes clear by at least 2 inches. What brand of tailpipes do you have?

I'd consider going to an exhaust shop and have them look at it and see if they can figure out a way to make your pipes fit correctly. I can take pictures of how mine fit so you can get an idea, if you would like.

Im thinking about ordering some Flowmaster Tailpipes and see if the bends are better.
