exhaust hole / smog removal

When you pull the pipe running to the exhaust when u remove the smog equipment, what did u use to plug it? I thought i seen somewhere that someone used hose and a bolt on the other end of the hose, but wouldnt that melt? thanks

the one on the back of the heads takes a 9/16 unc bolt I cant remember how long. i put some washers on mine. i google smog removal and found all the info on it

AS for the acutual exhaust pipe...yes! a bolt and a piece hose with some clamps.

you can order themactor plugs from summit. trickflow makes them and they worked great for me
