Exhuast leak help!!!

So i just put on an offroad h-pipe and put everythin on correctly and every is nice and secure and tight but i still have a leak. Now my car dies and i dont kno wats goin on help

Is your off road pipe a 2 piece that connects in the middle? Did you hook up or plug the smog pump bung? Are your 02 sensors installed or plugged?

yea it connects in the middle but that is bolted on tight. Bung is plugged and the o2 sensors are installed

ok when you installed the h-pipe did you make sure the fit was good with the middle section loose?

the reason i ask is because you can get the ball and socket joint at the wrong angle and you will have a leak.

yea it might be at the wrong angle cuz i was a drunk when i was doin it but i checked it out like a week later and everythin seems fine and its not crooked but i dono. i left the middle piece loose when i bolt it on to the headers (which has a leak here) but its on tight, then i did the middle (leak here to) and on tight so i dont even kno looks like i got to a muffler shop damn i hate spendin money

An exhaust leak should not make the car die. Make sure the O2 sensors or their wires were not damaged during the drunken installation.

I would take it apart again and retry the install. Let your buddies drink the beer while you work. Exhaust can be a pain in the butt. I had this kinda issue with my truck but after a few atempts i got it.
