500 to the tires, you don't need a Boss block. Now with a turbo you could run a bit more power safer, but with an SC and a good tune it should last a bit on 500 to the tire.

No i'm not wasting my money on doing the stock block only for it to split. I'm doing the BOSS 302 block with all new forged internals. Crank, rods, pistions, the whole works. It will be bullit proof. That way in the future i'll be able to withstand the hp when i go to the turbo! :D Eventually down the road, i'd like 700 with a turbo setup if possible. So this is the block for me!

I already got my quotes from the best machine shop in town( little pricey but worth it, i like to know that its done right so i can sleep at night!) and i can have the block in 10 days! And he said once he gets all the parts for it, he'll have it done in 2-3 weeks regardless. So i'm gonna go that route!
