Explorer Engine

What useful things can i grab off the explorer engine other than the tb,intake manifold, and heads? Been searching the forum but it appears no1 has a complete engine swap guide or list of all the usefull parts you can take off the engine so any info would be appreciated.

And what other parts would i need to install them.
A list of tools that are needed to pull and install these would be helpful also.

Everything for the most part. I'm running an Explorer shortblock in my 95. I sold the GT40P heads off of it, but you can use the shortblock, heads, intake, throttle body (with minor modifications), and I believe the timing cover is usable.

Grab an explorer motor, and toss a stock HO cam in it (maybe a few degrees retarded or advanced if your heart desires) and you should have a quick car. Do some work to the heads and you should have a quicker car.
