I bought an F-150 for my fella cheap it was his dad's his dad was a cop, F-150 cobra 4.6 L 5 speed 4 wheel drive I tried to look it up I can't find anything about it. The story is somebody bought a bunch of them brand new and made cobras out of them but I can't find any info

That's because there is no such thing.

There were some Shelby F-150s but no Cobra.

So in 2002 Ford made a 5.4L supercharged Lightning with an automatic transmission. Someone could have put their own badging on it as that year truck with a 4.6L and 5-speed was pretty common.

Maybe some one-off dealership did a run of 'special' F150's? Kinda like that Texas dealership thats whipple charging F150s and providing a warranty and all that?
