Fake Roush

Look at the front passenger side headlight assembly unit. It looks like it's got a big gap on it where the front fender meets with the top of the headlight unit. Please correct me if I'm wrong about this, but I see a gap in that particular area. Pleasr check this out in the picture and tell me if you see what I see with the gap between the headlight unit and the front pointed part of the fender on the passenger side.

Hey, that's me! And wow is that OLD. My car hardly looks like that anymore - and mine isn't all looks, that's for sure.

Yes, Roush made a V6. 1999-2000 they came three ways. Sport which was body kit minus the wing, baging and side exhaust, Stage 1 which was full body kit, exhaust, 17" wheels, V6 suspension and badging or there was a dealer installed "wing and wheel" package that gave you the rear wing, the 17" wheels and the badging. (Which is different than the S1 V8, which didn't get suspension mods.) Up until late 2000 Roush certified dealers could "convert" cars and give them serial numbers. 2001 Roush got tight with what cars got serial numbers.

More or less the Sport was cosmetic. The cat back gave some tq, but not much. The S1 handles much better, but again....no real go fast mods. In fact, Roush doesn't do anything power-wise for the 3.8L cars.

The green car in the listing is obviously NOT a Roush. Just some idiot trying to look cool.

Matt -
Good to see you here, and clearing up the V6 confusion no less.
:nice:
