feel weird watching the race tonight?

Anybody else watching the racing tonight on espn2? I feel bad watching the race after Scott passed yesterday.

Yeah I was watching some this morning and they were interviewing other drivers, and giving some insight/history on Kalitta.

It was sad, even worse watching the video on youtube...

it just felt weird, I couldnt watch it and turned it down and got on the computer. Sure, Kalitta proboly would want the race to go on, because its his brotherhood with other Top Fuel/Funny Car drivers.

For me, as a fan, Im not in that brotherhood. Just hard to get excited.

it was sad and another great name lost to our sport...but, maybe i missed it, was there not some sort of gravel trap at the end of the track? i could have sworn that there wasnt one. i doubt it would have helped but maybe there was a chance.
