Fiberglass hood install suggestions needed

I should have asked you guys this a long time ago. Does anyone know an easy way for me to mount my fiberglass hood?

My original hood mounted on hinges which bolted to the fenders on either side at the rear of the engine bay. At the moment I am just using hood pins to hold it in place. I could remount my old hinges but they are pretty heavy duty and I'd have to figure out some way to mount them to the hood.

Why not use the stock hinges???? Take the springs out and use them.

my friend has an 85 monte carlo ss and a 3 inch cowl fiberglass hood. on those cars, they had hinge springs and he took them off so it would not bow the hood.
