Fiberglass Hood -- to pin or not to pin...

Concerned..

I am having a car built that is almost complete. (see sig below)
The car has a fiberglass Eleanor 2 hood and a GT350R front valance.
This hood has no provisions for a stock latch.
The car will only have 2 locking pins in the front.
They are the almost flush style that are locked/unlocked by a round key.
Is this going to be a problem?
If so what are my options?

It will work fine untill the day comes that you forget to lock it, then say good by!
