my current problem is that i cant seem to remember how to throttle cable connects (with a retaining clip? maybe my bracket is broken. i understand how the ball socket at the end of the cable presses onto the ball on the actual throttle but what holds the cable to this bracket?

ive added some pics if anyone has useful pics or info they can share that would be awesome

that picture is pretty detailed but i still dont get how the cable end fastens to that bracket? do i see a screw holding it in place to the bracket?

The swedge goes on the firewall side and the spring on the opposite side.

ill check it out again today after i can see more of what youre talking about. i thought the cable went in the big oblonged circle at the end of the bracket.

i think im just overthinking it, thinking i had a missing clip or something
