Finally a chance to get behind the wheel

Finally, I managed to enough things connected to take the car out for a drive this morning. Granted there is no exhaust, just the open headers so I kept the ride within the neighborhood. But, let me tell you it was just great.

I can with great satisfaction say that my stroker was worth every penny. The steering, suspension changes I made really changed the way the car drives. The steering is no where as stiff as I thought it might be, the car tracks just great even before an alignment. I can also tell the the car is a whole lot stiffer with the TCP sub frame connectors, Monte Carlo bar, and export brace added.

Man oh man, I cannot wait till I have it all back together and can get it out on the open road.

Actually I had license plates, registration, insurance card, driver license, but I did not have tail light housings, reverse lights, any interior parts other than a driver seat, steering wheel, and the instrument cluster. The igintion switch is hanging from the wires under the dash. But hey, it runs.....
