Dang dude. Thanx for the kind words.(I did not pay him. ) I think I'm almost as excited as you to see some numbers man.

Gonzo, if you tried to get it to work, it wouldn't be much boost.I think alot of people think they have higher compression than they do though.I run 58cc heads on a 302 and have 9.2, and has dropped even more with the new HG's I bought be cause the bore is so big.to get it to a dual exhuast you would just need to split the DP and run it under the back half of the motor. But I want to run one big 3in out the back to confuse people. I will be looking harder into this...but I think this headers will work just fine on a twin setup. Which allows a swaybar, and easy connections to a dual. But more in the long run because of more parts.ie. two turbos, two wastegates.Or you could always run two t-3's.

my question is why did you not just sit the turbo where the battery goes....looks to me like everything would have been shorter and taken up less space

Cost is part of it. Battery has to move. You would also have to put the DP over the plugs becuase you can't run it out the other side underneathe because of the pitman arm.Getting cold air on that side would have comprimised the oil drain back, bad bad. And the radiator would have had to change to crossflow in order to run it straight down and back like on this one. Plus, I need the battery area open for say an air to water ?

10secgoal, I do like your setup.
Shame it's not on the passenger side.
Here's a picture of my engine:

I think a turbo would look good in that empty corner

Gonzo, further down the line I'm looking at putting it there for the P/S,AC guys, but it's going to take moving the alt. also.

10secgoal,

Are you actually selling that kit???
If yes, there's a question or two for you.
How do you connect the dual exhaust to the turbo? Do you have some pictures?
I got 10.4 ish compression, would a turbo works?

thanks for your time

I am pretty sure you can compensate for the high compresssion with a different set of heads like 70 cc victor jr's or something like that which will bring you down to a more ideal compression.

10secgoal...

I'm looking into doning something like this on my car (69 Mach 1) I have relocated the battery to the trunk and want to put the turbo on the passenger side (battery side). What kind of cash would you want to build the headers for this application??

Nope. I tried to keep enough room for it. And it does have room for the lower on the driverside. If you have a really wide radiator, you made need to snake the lower hose, but that's pretty easy as well.
