I have a 96 mystic with all bolt-ons.
Now I'm thinking of doing cams, and maybe porting while the heads are off.
comp cams are good in the 96-98 or another brand?
Porting. Should I bother getting it done? Would it be a big improvement?
10hp is not worth spending $800, so it would have to be decent gains to get me
interested.

I don't want it to snowball into a huge expense. I can afford cams and
labor.
$1500 or so for 50 more hp sound about what to expect?
Once you get past bolt-ons the hp gains are expensive and small...
