finally have some numbers... 1/4

Well I went to the local drag racing establishment the other day (finally) , I had a few runs.

This is my 1st time to the track in the stang, 1st time driving a 5speed at the track, and the last time I even went to the track was like 5 years ago... so I don't know if these are any good at all even. I'm very proud of the 3rd run there though...

1st run 15.1 @ 99

2nd run 14.5 @ 95

3rd run 13.7 @ 102

Sorry no r/t or 60 ft's there to give me (aka I kept forgetting to get the slips )

I had fun and I think the runs were decent. I just wish I had lighter rims with smaller tires and I could have done alot better I'm sure.
I am pretty much on target to where I thought I would be, considering I assume I can't drive worth a crap.

This might be the last little while I have orange, so I thought I should try to see what she'll do before I decide on getting a cobra.

thanks for the comments!! I'm pretty proud of that as well. I might have to go back and see if there is any room for improvement.

very nice my friend, getting 13's sometimes takes forever with our cars. Props on getting em the first time out to the track, although you do have comp cams which helps, lol.

102mph trap speed for the mods you have done isn't bad at all. I just eaked out a 13.7/100.6 with my stock geared auto.

yeah it was SIR...

and I am happy with it. Now I just have to decide whether I want to keep it and mod more, or get the nice white 1996 cobra about an 8 hour drive away... decisions, decisions, decisions...
