what pistons are you running and are those CNC ported heads , or did you port them yourself ?

there mark 8 piston, with a 2.66cc dish, and the heads are hand ported by me

Clearance issues with the timing cover and balancer is all I have seen , nothing that cant be fixed before you install it

What oil pump did you go with?

Stock 2V blocks will handle 1000HP if not more all day long (same block as 03/04 Cobras), so will most of the aluminum blocks. The only guys that ran into problems in the earlier days were those running the non-teksid blocks (99, 01 Cobra) that were pushing big boost through them. There were no race blocks a few years ago and the guys making 1500-2000RWHP in the pro cars were running factory blocks.

teksid is the italian company that made 96-98 cobra blocks, if i not mistaken, they also made ferrari blocks too.......

I'm pretty sure the 2v and 03-04 cobra blocks are different. Don't quote me but I think it has to do with webbing, and more main bolts
