I'd run a stock distributor and a better mass air meter.

The C&L 73mm MAF isn't bad. Are you planning any tuning, or just running as-is?

What should I do for tuning? I really hadnt thought about it til you said something. Never really had much experience with tuning one of these cars...

P.S. This motor is going in an 86 gt with an A9P EEC.

A. The 73mm c&l IS bad, it's inaccurate and undersized.
B. You don't need any tuning, an adjustable fp regular will do.

MSD is unreliable at best and serves no purpose for added performance, the stock ignition parts are plenty good on foxbody's and 50 times more reliable than anything else you can buy. Stick to the stock stuff for ignition, that includes the coil.

For the meter run an 80mm or bigger Pro M or PMAS.

I bought a 75 MM Summit Racing MAF calibrated for 24's. Can't say anything bad about it. I'm running a set up kind of close to yours and the car runs excellent.
