I finally started the new engine. Some motivation to finish off the build. Excuse the blank expressions on my face as I had very little sleep and was watching my engine parameters on a computer screen. lol. My cam sync sensor also worked! It is the saw blade at the front of the intake. It is dangerous but one of a kind. Here is a link to a quick vid I threw on youtube.

Cheers

I can garantee you that this was a nice reward after working my bag off over winter. Hearing it run for a bit have given me a bit more energy to finish it this month and get her on the dyno for breakin and tuning.

That gauge cluster is sick!! Is that something you can buy from Ford, or did you have to fab that yourself?

I didn't run into problems because I just bought the parts. Custom fab would not be difficult though. The way this piece fits is it slides into the bezel pice and sits against a structural piece of the dash behind it. It is in there solid but there is no hardware. If I was doing a sheet metal one I would say you would have to cement it into the plastic piece. I was planning on doing this but this looked good and I already had my hands full.

They have the option to have gauges included but I had my eyes on different ones. Just look at the company florida 5.0. I also got a ac bezel delete. the whole center piece vents/radio/ac are all just a flat panel now with a few switchs and a 7" touch screen. They have some nice stuff.

To be a street monster. The car is built to be a road race car more than anything. I will be using it to get more attention to my small custom automotive electronics/control systems business. Hence the bling bling gauges, uniques igntion setup, and control units.
