First time at the track in the Stang...

Those tires are regular radials not drags, set at about 25psi. Do those times seem alright??? With the MPH I think I could do a bit better. Maybe some 13.50's with good tires... Thanks for the input and responses.

With ET streets putting you at 1.9(You could go lower) that put's you at 13.3'ish. You should have MORE MPH though...

Timing? You might be maxing those 19lb injectors right now if you do have 19's.

I think the times are pretty good. It is capable of mid-low 13s. Kinda off topic, couple of weekends ago at the track, I raced a 87-93 GT. On his street radials, he lowered the pressure to 15#s! My buddy and I were wondering how he was hooking good with street tires. I guess desperate times calls for desperate measures. Unfortunately, their was a malfunction with the timing system and so there were no times that evening.

Between 20-25psi seems to be about the lowest you want to run radials. past that its like having too much air. The best test is really to set the pressure where you want to run them, do a burn out and look at the marks. If the mark is even all the way across then thats where you want to leave them. Too low will be darker on the outsides and too high darker in the middle. Just my experience though.
