Had a great time today with the new car. Ran a best of 12.74 @112. Got a
.064 reaction time on my first run - 12.92 at 110. Had alot of fun. Got to see the 8.73 run. It was awesome. There were lots of great Mustangs and Fords.

Cool.

Make sure your car has the IRS brace though. If you don't already have one, I recommend you get one before you venture out there again!

Yeah - the 14.00 dial in was the run where I took a rider. They dont want you going too fast with a passenger. Still ran a 13. though. OK I cheated. haha.

I think Geoff (Parts thief) has a steeda IRS brace kit lying around, that never made it onto his '99 cobra. PM me if you want me to ask him about it. It is easy to install, other than a tiny bit of welding. This will really help combat wheel hop.

I didnt put mine on, Wally hooked me. He said it was just a bolt on no cutting or drilling involved I would reccomend even though its not neccesary is to pull the diff cover before install since you have remove all or most of the bolts anyway and reseal diff cover then bolt on the brace. Also refill with redline or royal purple syn diff oil. If not the ford stough is suppose to be ok.
