Floor = Done!

Some may remember the first half of my floor installation:

Here are the finished pics of the driver side. Well, finished install, still need to do some more welding, grinding, sandblasting, etc. I thought it would be easier but a lot things popped up that made it equally as time-consuming as the passenger side. I actually completed this about a month ago but we moved to a new house (with a big shop!) so that has slowed my progress down to almost a stop while I get the new place up to speed with 220-amp outlets and stuff. Total estimated install time for driver side: 24-30 hours. Total for entire floor: 70-80 hours.

Anyway, here are the pics of the new pan and support and torque box:

hardest part for me

with my floor pans, the hardest part was picking up the checkbook and putting the pen to the paper and kissing away 6 mos. of savings. :D

Wish I had time and a good work space to do some of this in. Congratulations, must give you a great sense of satisfaction to DIY!

That looks just awesome. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you get your head around it. I'll bet the hardest part was picking up the first tool and the rest just fell into place! Keep it up if only to motivate the rest of us!
