As for the debate between flowmasters and magnaflows, I've got flowmasters but I wouldn't necessarily say magnaflows are worse. I personally like the deep sound of the flowmasters vs the performance sound of he magnaflows but its really up to whoevers buying them.
Also i like what 97sally's doing by puttin that H-pipe in with the magnaflows.. that should make a pretty true tone

GREENBIOCH said:First off a mid pipe isn't required for a V6....the midpipe is for equalization of the gas pulses on a V8 engine. secondly the Magnaflow will give you slightly more power due to its str8 thru design as opposed to the flowmasters chambered muffler. I personally like the sound of the magnaflows better as well, but if you want a loud muscle car rumble you definately want a chambered muffler like flowmaster.
When I had my V6 I got the Y pipe cut then ran str8 pipes back with Magnaflows welded in and it sounded amazing for a V6.
My vote is for magnaflow hands down, I currently have them on my GT right now and will never use anything but magnaflows.

For Now i'll will have to make the best out of the V6 stang.
