We'll just spent close to 400 on a fluidine aluminum radiator, and it seems to be alot thicker than the one before, and it doesnt fit once the electric fan is hooked up to it, whats the problem...it supposed to fit without modification right? The fan shroud is rubbiing against the water pump..argh

I don't have an answer but I was thinking the same thing. Since the unit is thicker, I thought the fan would touch the water pump. Guess I was right. Fluidyne does say it's supposed to fit. If you call their tech line, let us know what they say.

Mine fit perfect... it might not be seated all the way down, and the loom right up front above the radiator is keeping it pushed forward. If you need extra clearance to seat the radiator, just loosen the two bolts that hold the ABS control module on the frame, and it will slide into place nicely. I've personally installed three different Fluidynes (in my car), and they all had plenty of clearance from the water pump...

no problem dropping in mine. it fit great with the stock fan. I was suprised cause its significant thickness. Hell usually noting bolts onto my car without something going wrong, but not the case with the fluidyne.
