I don't know where else to post this, so I'll post it here. Guy said I'd never sit in someones "150k GT"... Well.. I did... Well, we got our 2nd Ford GT in today. The owner of the dealer was out "test driving" it. lol. And the heat hose popped off.. 1st recall!! haha. So it was in and we were fixin' it... And I got some pics... I even got to sit in it.. Let me tell you, this car is AMAZING! Ok, enough here's the pics..

nice pics, i'm somewhat jealous. what i found funny is that the spedometer is on the right side of the dashboard, intending you not to look at the speed

Funny, I read that thread about you getting a new job at Ford. You had said you were getting a GT in and that the boss or someone said you can sit in it. Someone else wrote back saying never! Oh well, looks like you were right. Enjoy!

I know it. I was just waiting until it came in, and better yet, I got to tinker with it. It's amazing that the heater hose popped off... It's attached to a a "T" were the radiator hose that comes from the front of the car (where the radiator is) is. They use top quality t-clamps on all connectors, but the "T" is PLASTIC and there is nothing for it to hold on to. Oh well. Like I said, first recall. haha. We had to take videos of it and send it to Ford World Headcourters so they could find and fix the problem. It was seriously amazing seeing this thing pull up and hearing it. Then got to work on it. Once in a lifetime opertunity. This car is sooooooooo cool

No, the hose POPPED OFF while the owner of the dealer was test driving it. We had to take off all the underbody diffusers to get to it.. There were like 100 screws holding the underbody on... Then we had to find what the problem was first. It came in spuing coolant. What a sight.. a Ford GT smoking at the engine lol. Oh well.

Notice how he has white gloves on in the first picture? I guess he didn't want to leave any grubby little hand prints anywhere!

Anyone have 150K that I could borrow?

It's a race car. On the track knowing your RPMs is more important than knowing your speed 'cause however fast you are going doesn't matter as long as you are beating the other guys!

Dean Sellers here in Detroit had one last thursday night sitting out front, all kinds of people drooling over it. It was dark blue... just a gorgeous car. No sitting or peeing was allowed.
