Ford A-Plan Price

If your brother-in-law works for Ford, have him set up an A-plan account for you.
Have him go to www.axz.ford.com and set it up. I indirectly work for Ford (and so get some of the Ford perks) and I recently set up an account for my father so he could go in and look at A-plan prices, as well as what vehicles are on the local lots. Its a really handy resource.
But, to answer your question, A plan runs ~15% below MSRP. At least, I ran the numbers on a couple of trucks I found quickly through the website, and they were between 14.5%-15.5% below MSRP.
Based on previous new models, it should be available for the '05 mustang, but its up to the dealership if they choose to participate or not. I dont see that happening until the January date when '05s will be taken off limited availability -- but this will vary by dealership, of course.

I work for a company that gets "X" plan from Ford. Here is the web site for it also. X plan is 4% over A plan.

A plan is I beleive 100 dollars over invoice, just go on the ford sight and normaly they show you invoice price along with MSRP. Remember REBATES still are applied, so wait for the best rebates before you buy because that plan is good at any time. Rebates are how they can sell people cars at invoice price, REBATES are how people that work for ford get cars at what the dealer pays for them (dealer still makes a good amount of money) so everyone is happy.
