what gear oil and weigh do u guys recomand for the fr cobra tloc

There's nothing specific that's different between the GT and Cobra tloks. I was using Mobil1 75-90 with 1/2 bottle of Ford friction modifier. I recently decided to switch to the 75-140 though, still with a 1/2 bottle of friction modifier. With the 75-140 I get much less rear gear noise than I used to have. So I'd suggest the 75-140 with 1/2 bottle of the Ford friction modifier

I believe the Ford Racing Tloc (03/04 Cobra factory unit) has carbon fiber clutches as the GTs do not.

Could be wrong. But gear oil should be the same for both.

the 03/04 cobra uses the carbon fibre clutches in the diff, you use the same fluid 75w140 with xl-3 modifier.

Does Ford now use 75w-140 in all 8.8's? I've been hearing this but nobody has confirmed it.
