I have 2000 GT lowered with H&R SS Springs and I would like to add the fOrd Racing Girdle cover to my rear end. Is anyone running this cover on a lowered car, and if so, are there any issues that I need to be aware of?

Thanks.

I have a Mac girdle on my 02 with the Eibach Pro Kit. Seems to clear the sway bar ok. Only problem I had was a small leak cause I used the gasket supplied instead of silicone. She's ok now.

If you go with the newer style, the one with the preload bolts recessed into the cover, you will be alright.I have the older style cover,so i had to message the floor pan where the spare tire sits.(no not a hack job)This was the only mod i had to do.But like i said, with the newer style, you will be alright .

No problems with mine, but mine has the recessed bolts/nuts.

Mine is the older version with the preload bolts sticking out, plus my stang is really slammed. Had no choice, otherwise the cover would've made room on it's own.

Here is a pic of the newer style(t/a,but the same as ford racing's ).You can see the preload bolts recessed into the cover for clearance.
