I found an 88 4 banger notch with almost zero cancer. I am desiring to pull the motor, put in a DSS 331 and a TKO, Full roll cage, 12 psi boost SC and other things. Is it worth the trouble to get the car for $800 bucks when it needs so much? The interior and paint is pretty much trashed but I was going to rip it out anyway to put in the cage and paint it anyway.
The big question, What should I do for wiring for the motor? Should I go carbed or get a whole V8 wiring harness and run efi. I would like to run a minimum of 400 HP. Any comments would be appreciated. Anyone tried this?
