Fox 4 cylinder springs question

Hey guys. I learned from some local mustangers that these springs provide an awesome drop and give excellent weight transfer when replaced in the front. I currently have sportline springs and would like to drop my front some more. Do you guys have an info for me?

ya i want to do it but first i need gt springs out back cuz the previous owner heated them up to get the car lowered and thier messed up. HEY WANNA TRADE TAILIGHTS? i got the 96-98

i knew 4 cyl springs were used for drops, but i didn't know they improved weight transfer?

Yup. That's the primary purpose

The drop is just the added benefit

seems only local guys checked this thread out. but yeah i got them and the stance is awesome with rear sportlines, ask paul. (that is if he didn't lie to me, jaja) But yeah Paul, i felt it right away with weight transfer. Normal driiving is fine as well, no complaints.

Sorry to side track this a little, but what rear springs do you guys recommend for good weight transfer? I've got coil-overs on the front so that's already taken care of.

The 4cyl springs is an old trick and a lot of guys swear by them. We tried it on my dad's car and saw absolutely no improvement.

As for rear springs, you want a stiffer than stock spring to prevent squating. I went with Bullitt rear springs on my car to serve the dual purpose of a drop and to work well at the track. The "B" springs are also a good choice, but you need to buy them as a set of 4 I think, the bullitts you can get as a rear pair only.

The sportlines in the rear have been working for me. I can honestly say that I don't have any concrete(track #s) info since I took my motor apart, but it did feel it lift from the front with greater ease. I will get back when I get it to the track, will be a while tho.
