Hey I was wondering if any of you out there currently drive a Fox Body in high school? I do. Do you get made fun of? Cause I do? I love my Notch, I was wondering what you guys drive?

I drove my fox all through highschool. I was pretty much known by everyone as the kid with the fast white mustang, for being loud and doing burnouts in the parking lot, until I was BANNED from touching the school road with a vehicle. Me and my buddy were the ones making fun of everyone else for their cars. It was immature but I would do it again if I had to go back.
I'm know for the kid with red mustang. But I don't to anything stupid. But i think it's funny when I'm louder than the kids with trucks. Even the kid who revs his all the time and i rev back and everyone laughs at him when i hold my hand to my ear(as if i didn't hear it). I get made fun of sometimes, but when i say try and beat it they all shut up.

I graduated in 92 and all i drove was fox bodies in highschool.
In order
1. Brown and gold 79 notch 4 banger
2. Black and green 80 with a 351w
3. Tan with pink pinstrip and brown vinal top 81 notch with the 3.8 "ugly"
Those were all junk
4. Maroon with black interior 82 GT
5. Blue with light blue pinstrip 83 GL 5.0
Those were pretty nice cars

and now the Blue 87 LX T-top car.
I don't keep cars very long. I get bored easy...

Yea I wont get into detail about street racing, but thats how word got around fast. But if there is one thing I wouldnt do again is the street racing, no matter how much popularity it gives you, one person injured or hurt is all it takes to ruin your life.
I was banned from the campus because these two girls were crossing a two lane road towards another parking lot, while I was driving up, and as I was approaching they started walking slower, and slower, so I got closer and closer. I guess to piss me off next day they went to the principal and said I hit them with my car, and supposedly she had bruises on he legs, so I had to park at a grocery store and walk to school for half a year.

Yeah. I've done alot better for myself now that i'm older. I was young and curious back then.

Yea its been like 3 years but enjoy it while you can. I never liked highschool, and I wouldnt wanna go back, but college is a lot different (better for me) but its a lot bigger so people dont notice you as easily. Definitely doesnt matter what kind of car you drive.
I had an 84.5 GT350 in high school. Only two kids made fun of me. The kid with the new Tiburon, may have been called a Scoop still but I forget. You guys know the movie "Overboard"? This douche was the kid that played the oldest son in the movie. He was a bigger douche then his character. 
The other dude had a newish IROC and always said how much faster his car was. He would never race me though.

I drive my fox to high school most days. I used to have an 01 v6 that was slow but I made it pretty damn sexy. I get people everyday who say "whyd you trade that nice car for that ugly p.o.s you drive now?!?" But its alright cuz all my buddies are big into cars like I am and they understand why.but yea the people who don't know cars definitly aren't big fans of the foxes.I also can't get a parking tag anymore because I might have "defaced the brand new parking lot" a few times haha oh well

I got my 5.0 a few months after my senior year began. I was sort of picked on for it, but probably moreso due to the fact that i was quiet and not the most popular kid around. It was without a doubt the fastest student car, and there was only one teacher with a car faster than mine. He had a LS1 Vette.
Mostly, people just didnt care for it because its "too boxy" or "so 90s" or "not as cool as <a newer pos>" or whatever else. Pretty typical comments about foxes.
I still have it almost 6 years later and have touched nearly everything on it. Ill be pulling the drivetrain outof it soon and putting it in a less rusty body someday. Typical american car. Body is rotting away around a superb engine.

Wow how things must have changed. All but one of my friends drove mustangs. Few of them had some pretty sweet mustang 2's. Only the Italian guy drove the Iroc-Z. I remember cruising main street in Plymouth Michigan and every other car was a 5.0 mustang of some year. Those were that days i guess.
sounds backwards to me, i graduated in 03 and there were 3 mustangs in the lot, and everyone thought we were hot shts for driving them

And I was one of many people who hated you. I was 17 with a fast car, I was having fun and getting laid. Like I said, it was immature, but if I had to go back I wouldn't change a thing.
I dont do that stuff anymore, I actually try as hard as I can not to s how off, and actually drive really slow now.
