Fox body in high school

i had 4 cars through highschool already but everyone drives new cars except one kid witha 02 gt vert but they all thought my fox was junk when i had it until i baked the tires on a daily and they heard how mean it was they all shut up, but now with my 00 gt no one says a word , i guess i can speak for alot of us owners out there i didnt really care what they thought of me or the car i loved it

I graduated in 1999, and all the cool kids had Mustangs.

Now in 2009, all the cool kids have some sort of modified import, or a G35 coupe.

I agree, if you wanna be cool in highschool now, you gotta have a hummer, or cadillac, or g35 like you said.

Your a chick. Chicks never drive in HS. They just look pretty and demand attention and talk bad about any other chick in a 50 foot radius

Yeah, see it was 90 when I had my Stang and while the newer Aero Foxes were respected the older four eyes were not. Rightfully so as mine was stock and slow but it lit its tires up really really easy so I thought it was fast But the kids in my school had BMWs and Infinities or Vetts.

Now I see these high schools and all I see are blinged out H2s and Caddy trucks or its 240SXs, G35s, 350Z, RX8 and then the poor kids with the Cobalts, Cavaliers, Escorts and Mazda 3s with huge wings and racing harneses for their 98 fwhp

I wasn't that kind of chick. I dreamed of owning a Mustang during highschool. My parents wouldn't let me have a car or get a job.

As hard as it can be when you're young and in high school, don't rev it up at them, don't do burnouts and don't drive fast. I've been out for a couple years now. You learn that it's much better to just be cool and calm and keep them guessing. Just cruise your fox to school every day knowing you're the baddest mother ****er there. When they decide to talk **** tell them to run their money not their mouth.

I had mine in HS. Loved having it, and other than the random kids who would challenge me with cars they either weren't done with, didn't own, or never existed... never had anyone say anything negetive.

I did have another kid get a fox while I was there. Mine was more or less a minor bolt on car, his was an S trimmed, HCI hatch, with a 5 lug swap and the works. The whole school thought we hated each other because we had Mustangs and everyone thought we wanted to race them etc... Needless to say, we ran with that, pretended to hate eachother, but actually became good friends!!

BTW he took his to the track one time, with two different not experienced drivers and went a best of 14.2 @ 98 mph, LOL! Did make 423 rwhp on a Mustang dyno though.

I drove my 66 coupe and until it was painted, people thought it was lame. I didnt care tho, i loved every bit of it!!!

A kid in my neighborhood drives a ROUGH 88 LX hatch and gets made fun of alot, but they dont realize under the hood is a fresh 302 with HCI/bolt-ons. I bet thats fun spookin people with it lol. Dont worry what others say, if you like it, cool! Most people dont understand the Fox craze anyways. My GF doesnt get it, thinks Im wierd when I walk out to see my Coupe waitin for me and get excited lol
