HELLO ALL
i was wondering if anyone has installed a chicane fox box cold air kit for their car, iwas looking into getting a fender kit simply because my car has the conical filter just sitting in the engine bay and it probably isnt good to be sucking in all that hot air and the fox box looks the best so far...i still have to measure my throttle bdy to check the size but it is definately bigger then stock,,but the mass air sensor is stock should that be swapped out for something bigger since the tbody is?? thanks in advance..

Not really. Your Mass Air unit is changed to recalibrate for larger fuel injectors. Not throttle body changes.

actually the injectors are changed need to figure out what size they are i will take a look because there are little tags still on them,,,sorry i sound oblivious to my own car but i purchased it from someone who put all this togethr and then sold it for a bike so they did not test and tune it after all the mods...so i am picking it apart little byt little with help from people here..

If they are 24# they should be blue. And it depends on who makes your mass air unit as to what size it is and what for. For instance my C&L MAF is 76 mm and calibrated for 24# injectors.Granatelli makes a 75mm MAF for 24# inj, and the cobra MAF is a 70mm for the 24# inj.

well i checked the injectors and they look yellow, the throttle body i need to remove and measure when i take that off can i reuse the gasket? the tbody is attached to what looks like a chrome spacer then the breadbox intake..at what point would i change the injectors just when a larger mass air is installed? and what will that do for me?
