Oh, no doubt! I wasn't referring to how heavy it felt, but how bulky. Looking out over those fenders and that hood, looking at the rear quarters in the mirrors, this thing just seemed enormous. It was like going from a Chevette to a Crown Vic- going around corners on the backroads afraid of taking out a mailbox. Maybe I've just been driving Foxes too long Of course, if I know you, then I know that you know that I can't help but respond to you jerking my chain, even if I know that you know that I know it's what you're doing... leggo!

I know what you mean - my wife describes them as "too thick". I know just what she means.

To quote Ian Anderson of Tull fame, mine's thick as a brick. A flyin' brick. Here ya go - the Swedish Mustang - SN82 body. A sport sedan if ever there was one.

Clean 2 door bodies are gettin' pretty hard to come by...kinda' gets in the way of the mass part of production.

I've owned both, and recently I bought a '90GT for use a drag car. If I had to choose, the Sn95 would no doubt be my pick. I'm sort of lucky in that I have a 95GT, my dad has a 91GT, and my mom has a '01Bullitt... I a able to drive and see what each has to offer versus each other. In terms of weight, my dad's 91GT weighed 3190lbs w/o the spare, jack, etc, my cousin's 95GT weighed 3350lbs WITH the spare, jack, leather seats, etc. Mom's '01Bullitt came in at right around 3300lbs, and my pig weighs 3510 w/o the spare, jack etc but I had added a lot of weight with the TKO, roll bar, etc. When I race my car, my dad is normally right along there with me. I have on many occasions jumped from my car to his basically hot lapping and there is SUCH a difference between the two its not even funny. In my car, I feel like I'm in control, in my dad's I feel like I'm just there for the ride!!! The '94-95's can be picky when a cam swap is done, but other than that they are just about the same in terms of tuning and such as the A9L equipped cars. I think some of you are not giving enough credit to the 94-95's. True, they have a rep of being slow, but they really are not. Example, my dad's 91GT ran a 14.6 at 94mph bone stock with bumped timing and a removed air silencer. My cousin's 95 ran a 14.8 at 93mph, but with the stock timing and silencer in place. The are not as many "stock" motor'd cars in the 12's as there are foxes, but there are a few. You have to keep in mind that the 94-95 GT is a rarity in that it was only made for 2 years and something like only 1 in 6 was a GT, the rest were 6's. I've owned my car since '97 and in all those years, it seems that just in the past 1-2 that people have really started to run quick in them. Hopefully, we can shake that bad rep for being slow off our backs!!! I know I'm trying my best to help that cause!!!

The foxes are less technological but as we all know, the more technology you add to something the more prone it is to breaking. Sometimes raw simplicity is more desirable. At least I think so.

Thats why I drive one. You can depend on it and it's easy to do work to.

That and I agree with the guy about how it looks. I like how it's small and tasteful looking. It's cute if that's ok for a guy to say.

Well, my dad once owned SN-95 (1995 Mustang GT).....you can see the picture of my dad's car. I have talked with my dad and what he think about SN-95 between Fox bodies. He said SN-95 is more refined than Fox bodies. I have ride with my dad's Mustang, its great car.

However, I do like Fox bodies alots than SN-95. That why I did once owned 1988 Mustang LX (hatchback) and I like small Fox bodies and cheaper parts than SN-95.

Screw both boddy styles. Nothing beats the ride of an 86 crown vick. heated springs, for a lowerd stance, of course :-D Cobra intake, e303 cam, port polish fresh rebuild to 306. AOD! Cant miss that. and 3 12 inch woofers bouncing of 3600 watts of windsheild shattering fun! Boy do i miss old vicky! I still want her to get going again... but i need food more than 7 running vehicles. Now throw 9 people in her. 3 in front, 4 in back, and 1 in each corner of the trunk nex to the sub box, tooling around town shooting people in the summer with squrt guns. ahhh what a ride! That tahng floated on air like nothing else. And theres no such thing as a car too big, it just means that every one else can see u coming and get off the road! and if u put the seat up high enough and forward enough so u were humping the steering wheel, it almost felt like u were in control.... kinda.....

My vote goes to the FOX.
For one there is just too many of the newer body styles runin' around.
Fox bodies are getting harder to find in good condition.I say find a good lookin' fox, restor the interior, get a good paint job and wheels, then mod it.

That would be V6's BTW.

I sent pics to numerous girls that I knew of my 95 and my friends 91LX which looked alot better then mine at the time and everyone of them said my car looked better.

Dont base your decision on just what girls think but I like my 95, yeah its more heavy but big F'ing deal, thats why its got a Paxton on it

Also I think alot of 95/95's look better w/ Rims, lowered, aftermarket hoods, bumpers, side skirts then alot of Fox's do w/ the same things done to them. It goes both ways but I mean overall.

I LOVE foxes. i feel better driving my 89 GT than i ever did in my 97 Cobra. sure the cobra was faster, handled better, was tighter and more comfortable, but nothing beats the feel of a fox. HOWEVER, i do like the 94-95 SN95 cars because it combines the more modern body and more plush and modern interior with the "uncivilized" nature of the 5.0...i think the ideal SN95 is a 94/95 cobra. a solid mid-low 14 sec performer with killer looks (with the right stance and wheels) and a nice interior. try them both out and see which suits you best

If I had the chance of picking either an sn95 or a fox all over again I'd still go with the fox. Fox's just seem to be a little bit more rare around here. While not true in every case but 9 out of 10 modded sn95's around here have some body work done and some exhaust work(no real motor work) while most modded fox's are packing some serious numbers. The extra money spent on an sn95 could be spent modding the fox.

bone stock on street tires with a normal person driving, yes. 96-98 cobras run in the high 13's stock on average and have 305hp as opposed to 240 in the 94-95. my 97 ran 13.58 on a 32 degree day and decent tailwind. those 2 factors combined gained me a solid chunk of time. the 94/95 on average will run in the low 14's, but a talented driver could break 14.00 with one.

I.....think he was being sarcastic QUICK91LX. We all know that the 94/95 Cobra's were dogs in stock trim. Even more so than the equally disappointing (power wise) ’93 Cobra

5.0 > SOHC 2V 4.6

5.0 Cobra < DOHC 4V 4.6

unless of course you perfer the lope of a 5.0 over the smoothness of the 4.6
