friends dont let friends purge nitrous!!!!!!!!!

whats up everybody, this is pretty urgent. sorta. today my friend was helping me hook up the purge kit on the mustang and he hit it to many times and it got so cold around the cown that the paint cracjked! anyway its about a 3X3 in area. i have the paint and everything if anybody would like to give me some advise. (im not paint repair expert.) thanks guys. im trying to find a paint and body place that will fix it but has this ever happend to any of you

see what i mean? i wonder how hard it would be to feather that out and respray that spot...

yep, sucks, but the only way to fix that is to strip it to metal and then repaint. No easy fix other than a big blob of tar.

yeah thats what i figured. i know you can sand it down and feather it out.bit i dont want to do that and suck . so i figure a real perfesional can help you know

There are some paints you can do that to with better or worse results. Luckily, you can isolate that area fairly easily.

i would just sand down the hole cowl and shoot it

LOL, for future referance, unless you use your wiper washers use those clamps and run hard line a touch past your cowl.

no i did man. i used brass tubing and it was sticking out about 3/8" weird.
oh well ill just have to find a place to get it fixed. sucks

Did he purge the whole bottle! I didn't see it on your pictures. On mine I have it poking through just enough to see so that the nitrous is above the cowl when it purges. Also make sure that the line isn't touching the cowl. this is all to try and keep the cold away from everything as best as possible. You could do what I've heard of people doing. Running a line to up front so its comeing out of your horses nose....or butt lol.
