damnit..ive had the wheels for less then 2 years and the clearcoat is starting to peel. i take awesome care of my car, wash it weekly, keep brake dust off them, and more than 1 are peeling. unfortunately, i bought them off a guy who took them off his mach 1, so i cant call anybody to bitch. could someone please photoshop my wheels black with a silver lip? i have a buddy who could powdercoat them for cheap...and im thinking about black. oh...and someone ran into the back of my car the other day and im repainting the silver...any suggestions on what color? right now its called "seattle silver" kinda champagneish and im looking to chage it to maybe a "dsg" type gray. thanks

take some 1500 grit to the wheels and LIGHTLY SAND THE CLEAR COST. just scuff it a little so the clear will stick. then spray a couple of costs of clear on them and they will look better then the day you got them. watch what your using to clean the wheels. so of the chemicals really mess up the clear.

the paints not peeling is it? if its just the clear go to auto paint store and tell them you want some clear cost that drys pretty fast it will cost you a little bit more but you will only have to wait about 15 mins between costs of clear. :nice:

^ i like the way you think...i was gonna have the inner part of the wheel painted to match, but doing the spokes would look awesome. my lip is just machined right now...should i have someone polish it or could i do it myself?

wow...that chop looks awesome. i think if the bottom of the car was the same color it would look perfect. mansonozz....i loved the champagne for the longest time, but the whole bottom has to be painted(front bumper is a mess) and id like the white to be more of a contrast to the silver. and now that i saw how sick the wheels look...pretty sure thats how i gotta do it.

ok...i think you guys convinced me...ill stick with the champagne, or as close as i can get it to the same, ans ill do the wheel centers to match, and either polish the lip or leave it machined. im also thinking smoked headlights maybe maybe one piece, but i dont know if i like them yet.

yeah, i agree my car is too light, but i love the look of the smoked lights. i wanted to get smoked headlights, nightshades the tails, tint it darker and do the dsg...but i guess you guys talked me out of it. ill update agian when i get her all painted up and my wheels matched :)
