Hey guys just wondering if there was a pretty good noticeable difference in the seat of the pants when you went from 200 give or take a few horses at the tire to 300 give or take? Did it make you go, "hm my car is pretty quick now." ??

Thanks
mike

I went from 168rwhp and 2.73 gears when bone stock to 244rwhp and 3.73 gears now. My car is 2.5secs faster than stock and it's a totally different animal.

Yeah you will definitely feel a major change! What are you doing to pick up the 100 rwhp?

From my stock motor with basicly a GT 40 intake and BBK shortie headers to what I have now was like my old motor with a shot of NOS.

Throwing on 100HP will certainly result in a SOP difference. It will also most certainly inform you of any areas that need to be addressed as a result- braking, cooling, suspension, etc. You'll be adding a lot more pressure on the motor so any areas that are weak- gaskets, rings, bearings, etc. will become more pronounced. At a minimum you need to step up the fuel system with a larger pump, injectors, MAF in addition to adjusting timing and plug gap and heat range.

Uh yeah, you're talking about a 50% increase in power. That's an enormous gain no matter how you look at it.

I agree with everybody above but even with all things you need to do to handle the up in hp go for it, when you get over 300rwhp and do some pulls you will giggle with joy from the power gains yes by all means more hp please!. And when thats not enough and you get closer to 400rwhp you will LOL after doing some pulls!! hell yeah do it 300 to 400rwhp and up feels so dam good in the seat of your pants compared to 200rwhp!!! and the more cars that end up in your rearview mirror feels dam good too.

Absolutely. Just finished up my Trickflow top end kit which is close to 100 HP. It's a beast.
