I found a great paint shop in Margate...The guy is friendly AND knowledgeable AND good at his job.

Charged me $250, and the bumper looks like glass (makes the rest of the car look badk) I didnt post any close-ups to show the quality of the work--instead just how it looks with the rims---but trust me the quality is good. We'll see how it holds up.

what did you have done? fully repainted?
Like DonJohn said...the bumper had cracked and flaked all over.

When I put the Rebel rims on it didnt look to good without the front bumper, but with the rest of the body kit.

Xr8d: I sold them to the Mystery Stanger!! :rlaugh: WTH is he/she btw??

Anyway, only issue I got pending right now besides more bling under the hood is to figure out my little oil leak.

WOW, that looks a lot better now!!!
Hey Paul...IM glad you chimed in.
I wanted to tell you:

It DID run a good 5-10* hotter on the hwy on the way home than it has been the past 2 months with the bumper off. So I guess it's true that that front lip blocks some air flow.

Would you happen to know if the whole bumper that replaces the front and has the Xenon design would be less restrictive on air flow, like the stock bumper?

Thanks

See... I told you! :D I NEVER had a problem with the stock rad until I put the xenon front bumper cover on. I definitely think the ABC one piece would allow more airflow because unlike the tacked on xenon, its not "doubled up" in the bottom center hole. SOme of it has to do with how low it sits as well as it completely covers the little blakc plastic air diverter under the rad support. I lowered mine to help cure the problem, but it really didn't seem to do much. I will tell you that with my summitt rad, the car takes FOREVER to come up to temp, it runs VERY cool now.

Paul,
My got to 195-200 with the piece on yesterday, and rarely above 190 for most of the summer with it off, but I got the Vortech, more polished stuff, and more less space in there for air flow with everything so crammed in there.

If you end up getting the ABC single piece, you'll have to let me know how it is. I was gonna remove the kit altogether next time I get it painted, but I think it looks too good with it..Ill have to wait and see.
