My front bumper cover is starting to look like a glazed doughnut… When I redid the interior a couple of years ago, the side mirror had the glazed doughnut look with the glazing flaking off. I very successfully wet sanded the colored part of the mirror and rattle can re-clear coated. Turned out like new… now back to topic.

My front bumper cover is starting to get the milky, glazy look. The rest of the paint is in great shape. I am afraid to try and wet sand the bumper and make things worse by trying the rattle can recoat. Any ideas?

You might be able to wet sand and then buff with a polishing compund.

If there's not enough clear coat left, you will have to sand and re-clear, but I wouldn't use a rattle can, I would use a good clear with a flex additive.
