well..when I go around a corner while slowing down and I turn, I hear a thump in the front. I think I have narrowed it down to eitehr the sway bar mounts or the end links...would these be the right cause? I have replaced the one sway bar mount cause it broke, so I kinda checked them with the hood open and they looked ok, havnt checked the end links yet casue its raining out

To check the sway bar, open the hood and bounce the front end. If you hear a binding sound that would most likley be a sway bar. If you have a friend who will help it makes it a lot easier because one of you can listen for the sound.

I think that it is an outter tie rod end. Every car which I have changed tie rod ends has suffered from the same noise. I think that if it were the sway bar bushings, you would get a binding sound and not a clunk.

I agree check the ball joints, jack the front end up and put a large pry bar under the tire and pull up see if the tire moves, also see if it moves in/out.

Aight, Ill check it, I have some ideas of what it might be and I hope its not ball joints for sure...
why? Ball joints are no biggie to swap. there is lots of other stuff i would rather not swap. LOL.
