Front sway bar basics ...

Yeah, so taking out front sway bar increases weight transfer to the rear, and also reduces weight...

I searched but I can't really find any more information on it though. Any websites have a tutorial for pulling it out?

Are their any downsides of removing FSB?

steering gets more sloppy and your handling decreases.. can be dangerous driving like that off the track if you are used to taking corners pretty quick

just take turns carefully with it off. i run without one front or rear. on 90/10s and 4cyl springs. no probs. just cant drive like a maniac. pay attention to speed limits, and no quick moves youll be fine.

I took mine off over the summer and Ive had zero problems with it being off. Handling wasnt affecting much. Actually this morning I was kinda late to pick a buddy of mine up and he lives down a whindy(sp?) road and I was taking it all at 50-60 with no probs.

I'm gonna give it a try next time I goto the drag strip. I've read that just loosening the bolts is enough for the weight transfer to improve.

Can anyone explain why weight transfer improves?
