fuel injecting a carbed turbo

I know I have seen a thread somewhere that has specifics of putting fuel injection on a carbed 2.3 turbo. I have a 79 pace car and have found a fuel injection setup from a turbo coupe. The guy with the fuel injection system says it cant be done, and I am pretty sure he is wrong. Any info would be appreciated.

It could be done, but it would probably be difficult and time consuming. Basically you would have to put in the intake manifold, injectors, fuel rail etc, then you would have to redo your fuel system to work with the fuel injection (this means in-tank pump and possibly new lines), and then you would have to sort out the wiring which would be the worst part.

You will need a wiring harness for the swap, also, and a turbo coupe harness is NOT the one you want to use. I was told one from a merkur Xr4Ti was the best for a swap because it doesn't have as many "accessory" plugs on the harness.

So basically it's a big job...you have to decide if you want to tackle it or not.
