fuse problem

my instrutment cluster fuse is shot, well its not the fuse, the slot where you put the fuse, the lil medal prongs that hold it in are suddenly missing? i donno if they fell out or if i pushed them into the fuse box when changing the fuse..none the less when i stick a fuse in, it will just fall right back out, with out it, i have to turn my dome light on to see my speed, gas ect. what to do? do they sell those things? are should i just yank one from the not used fuse slots and stick it in the one i need? thanx

If any of the clip is still visible, maybe you can pull it back out to the proper position with long-nosed pliers. Wrap the pliers loosely with some electrical tape so you don't short to any other metal by accident.

nah, there is no medal showing at all!, its completley gone, u just see the white i believe, plastic
