Gas mileage getting worse by the tank

I would blame a vac leak or something mechanical before I blamed GAS....c'mon people...

Um GAS is a very common reason for decreased mileage.

A bad batch, a different stations mix, whatever... all of it can affect mileage greatly.

Winter gas is oxygenated. The extra oxygen in the gas displaces the fuel, wich means there is actually less fuel per volume, and therefore take more fuel to produce the same energy.

I said I would suspect a vac leak before gas. I never said the gas wouldn't affect the mileage. Just my .02

new fuel pressure sensors are $90. idk why it would be bad anyways unless the hose snapped off like mine did. might want to make sure of the probs before buying a new one of them.

our cars only have a 14.7 gal gas. so you are not going to get a lot of miles to a tank. i have a 98 and i get something like 265 city and 330 highway, and i have 3.73 geara. and yes i did fix the speedo- odometer.
