Gas pedal mod

Anyone else worried about snapping the cable? I can see mashing down on the gas pedal really hard when launching.

We did this mod, mustangworld style, with a piece of hose and two tiny hose clamps to my wife's 01 GT. Works perfectly, not as slick as some other solutions, but hey, it's under the dash anyway. Weird thing is though, I was going to do this on my 02 GT, but after installing the Accufab TB and plenum, there is absolutely no slack at all...?

I got 20cent nylon spacer with a mini hose clamp, cut the spacer in half, put it around the spacer and clamped it down.

Yup! I bought one of those from him... worked great. he also P&Ped an intake plenum for me and did a WONDERFUL job.
